Sara has over 20 years in non-profit management starting at the age of 18 as the co-founder of a Humanitarian Aid Organization focussed on international poverty relief efforts.
Sara currently works for a Statewide Anti-Poverty Advocacy Organization in Missouri. She also provides free-lance consulting services to small non-profit start ups. She recently spent 6 years in service to low-income residents in 10 Counties of Southwest Missouri. First in a direct services role addressing areas of improved self-sufficiency and the last two years in an administrative role with a special emphasis on mental health. Sara understands that the impacts of poverty on everyday life are far reaching and brings with her knowledge of the wide and varied approaches to addressing these impacts.
