Joseph Brazeau’s Testimony

Haiti is the poorest Country in the Western Hemisphere; as in any underdeveloped nation, the citizens suffer the most, especially children. Annually, more than 50,000 children are trafficked to the Domican Republic to provide child labour and for sexual exploitation. Part of our multi-pronged approach to end child trafficking in the country is to empower the community. Through our Whole Family Approach, Children and families are supported through food, education, spiritual guidance and the meeting of their most basic needs.
The “restavek system” in the country that has for centuries encouraged child trafficking must come to an end!
Two great mandates which were given to believers by Jesus are: to share the good news of the gospel and destroy the work of the devil. The two can be attained by fighting human trafficking and helping the poor. God’s Chosen Ones Ministry strategically empowers individuals in Haiti by offering support to impoverished children and families. We provide help by providing educational opportunities and other resources to not only children, but the entire family, to improve their current living conditions in Haiti. We work together with local communities to ensure that all children have access to basic needs and create programs for a positive change in their lives.
Haiti is currently facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, with widespread gang violence, political instability, and economic collapse, leaving millions of people in urgent need of assistance. Nearly half of the population faces severe food insecurity, and over 5.5 million Haitians, including 3 million children, are in desperate need of humanitarian aid. The violence has displaced hundreds of thousands, destroyed homes, and limited access to basic services like food, water, and medical care.
The situation for children is particularly dire, with many schools closed due to violence, forcing children out of education and into danger. Many are at risk of malnutrition, exploitation, and recruitment by armed groups. The health system is also on the brink of collapse, exacerbated by the resurgence of cholera and other diseases.
The people of Haiti urgently need your help. GCOM is committed to supporting vulnerable children and families through this crisis. Your donations can provide essential aid—food, shelter, and medical supplies—and offer hope in a time of despair.
Donate Now: Your contribution will directly provide life-saving resources to those most affected.
Sponsor a Child: Help us secure a brighter future for Haiti’s children by sponsoring a child in need.
Please act now to make a difference. Every contribution matters. Together, we can bring relief to those suffering in Haiti and offer them a chance at survival and hope for the future.
